There’s some confusion on the DIY hydrogen car kit scene. Many people are promoting it as “running your car on water” and many motorists are thinking it’s a water only system. Some assume you can use water instead of petrol to run your car.
Well, the kit does not run cars on water. It’s just a way drawing attention to what is in fact a very clever hydrogen production systemSo let me set the record straight. The DIY hydrogen car kit is not a system that enables your car to run on water. So what is it then?
It is a simple system that uses electricity from your car battery to produce HHO (hydrogen) from water and inject it into your petrol. The result is more power and vastly higher fuel economy.
It operates on a 100 year old proven technology called electrolysis. Whenever you place two pieces of metal in water, and apply electricity, the water separates into its basic molecules, hydrogen and oxygen (H2O).
H2O molecules in their liquid form, which is water, are connected together. But when you apply electricity (from your car battery) the molecules separate and form a gas (called HHO) which is a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen. This HHO gas is then sucked into your engine and mixed along with the air from the air filter. As the gasoline is ignited in your engine so is the HHO – making it more powerful than gasoline alone. Experts says this is better than plain hydrogen because you are also making extra oxygen that causes the gasoline to burn faster and cleaner, resulting in better mileage and a much cleaner exhaust emission.

There are many salvage yards in the state of Wisconsin and they have parts for most if not all vehicles. They also have salvage yards that provide used parts for classic cars. These car parts are very hard to find and when you do there are very expensive. With the salvage yard that deals with used parts for classic cars then you will find what you need. They also have everything documented in a system so that you can call before visiting. You can also find this information online. The salvage yard as mentioned before is a lot more affordable than getting the part at a manufacturer.
Another thing is that the producers stop making parts for that vehicle after a couple years. The older the car is the less likely the dealer will have any extra part. The manufacturers most of the time buy the parts from the salvage yards and sell it to the customers for sometimes three times what they paid for it. The salvage yard cuts out the middle man and saves you money. With the salvage yards you can also purchase that part online. You might be busy and don’t have the time to go to the salvage yard to get the part. What you can do is find a salvage yard online that has the part and if you want you can buy it online. Also you can call them and see if they have the part, if they do you can also check to see if they deliver. Some places actually deliver for free and offer some type of warranty with the part. This can come in handy if the part breaks down or it doesn’t work as it should.
