Chrome and polished aluminum wheels look great, but require just a lowercase extra effort to protect that factory finish and shine. Painted and clear glazed bespoken wheels are more forgiving, but should still be handled with care to protect your investment. For all wheels, a simple hand washing with a mild dish soap and water module clean them up nicely. Dry thoroughly and finish with a soft nonabrasive cream rise to protect the wheel. Keep in mind that you should never wash a rotate when it is hot.
Handling Minor Scrapes
Damage from curbs and other objects are unsightly, but commonly not a real safety concern. On painted wheels a touch-up may be possible with matching paint ordered from the manufacturer. Scratches on aluminum may be buffed out if not too deep. But there is no real fix for scratched chrome. If you curb your plate wheels, immediately apply a clear lacquer, like clear nab polish to reseal the chrome. After that has dried, also apply a light coat of non-abrasive cream wax. This should keep any moisture from getting underneath the plate and feat it bubble up or peel away from the underlying wheel.
Ask a Pro
These days, most of us springy not far from a super local tire retailer who stocks a big selection of bespoken wheels. Get to know them. They can steer you toward the right products for your particular type of wheel. They also talk to hundreds of car customizers every month, so often they can even recommend a local car wash that you can trust not to scratch your wheels or use harsh detergents.

When you purchase a used car, the car may still be relatively new. It may have a remainder of the manufacturer’s warranty left on it, or you may be given the option of purchasing an extended warranty contact. If you do purchase a warranty of this kind, be sure to verify what types of problems or routine maintenance is covered.
When considering used cars, an extra warranty may be beneficial, especially if the warranty covers the most common problems. If you happen to be handy with car repair and maintenance, you may not need a warranty at all.
Just because a car is not brand new, it doesn’t mean that you should scrimp on the maintenance. The car will hold it’s value longer if you change the oil and do regular tune-ups. If you keep records of your maintenance, the car will fetch a better price when you are ready to sell it. It will also last longer and run better. Make sure you understand exactly what routine maintenance should be done on a pre-owned car if the owners manual is not included. You can find this information online or by contacting the manufacturer directly.
You will get much more enjoyment from a well maintained vehicle as well as avoiding costly repairs later on. Routine maintenance now will save money in the long run for any type of vehicle.

There’s some confusion on the DIY hydrogen car kit scene. Many people are promoting it as “running your car on water” and many motorists are thinking it’s a water only system. Some assume you can use water instead of petrol to run your car.
Well, the kit does not run cars on water. It’s just a way drawing attention to what is in fact a very clever hydrogen production systemSo let me set the record straight. The DIY hydrogen car kit is not a system that enables your car to run on water. So what is it then?
It is a simple system that uses electricity from your car battery to produce HHO (hydrogen) from water and inject it into your petrol. The result is more power and vastly higher fuel economy.
It operates on a 100 year old proven technology called electrolysis. Whenever you place two pieces of metal in water, and apply electricity, the water separates into its basic molecules, hydrogen and oxygen (H2O).
H2O molecules in their liquid form, which is water, are connected together. But when you apply electricity (from your car battery) the molecules separate and form a gas (called HHO) which is a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen. This HHO gas is then sucked into your engine and mixed along with the air from the air filter. As the gasoline is ignited in your engine so is the HHO – making it more powerful than gasoline alone. Experts says this is better than plain hydrogen because you are also making extra oxygen that causes the gasoline to burn faster and cleaner, resulting in better mileage and a much cleaner exhaust emission.

Line output converter can be defined as a small device that converts high-voltage speaker-level signals to preamp-level signals; which is acceptable to an amp. If u want to connect an amp to your car stereo which doesn’t have a speaker level inputs then it means you need a line output converter to have a preamp outputs. So you can connect your receiver to an amp by converting your receiver’s speaker output into preamp-level signals. It consists of a transformer and (10 to 20 watts) a high-voltage resistor and connects to amp by using RCA patch cable. The amplifier in the head unit is being loaded by the resistor. It has also an adjustable gain feature to pull output.
There are simple Instructions for the line output converters which need to take in consideration. So connect the audio cable speaker’s leads to the device from the car stereo. The line output converter then trims down all the inwards bound speakers’ level audio signals until the outgoing signals get adjusted to the preamp inputs on the amplifier. An adaptor scosche performs many different applications. It accepts speaker level outputs and converts them to preamp level outputs. It has a fader control feature also that means; we can hook 2 channel amplifier or 4 channel amplifier easily and can not lose any fader control.
Adjustable line output converters helps to convert the radio speaker level output to the lower amplifier RCA level input. Installers use to convert their speaker level stereo to RCA levels with the help of low adaptors which hooks to an external car stereo amplifier. Hi/low converter with 2 channels and 4 channels are also available with or without adjustments. It is important to note that the match between your car stereo and amplifiers are the same. Adjustable hi/low converters allow to fine tune the hi/low device to match levels in the car and are the most popular in adjustable output converters. There are many adjustable output converters in 2 channels and 4 channels available. For example, Soundgate “LOC A” adjustable high performance Hi/Low adaptor features full DC isolation and handles 40 watts and Soungate “XR4″, this performs dual functions such as to add an aftermarket receiver to a factory amplifier system or to add four channel amplifiers to a factory receiver. This feature can make adjustments on all four channels.
